They are very effective because the word on each card is printed in large red print on one side with a full color picture shown on the other. We currently offer 4 different sets of flash cards. Each deck contains 40 different words that are important for your baby to learn. The names of these sets are as follows: All About Me, Colors and Shapes, Around the House, and Couplets.

The first set of baby flash cards, All About Me, should be the first set you pick up. These cover all the important baby's first words such as the parts of the body and other familiar first words such as mommy, daddy, baby, and bottle. Your child will love learning to read using these cards. Simply show them the word and then quickly turn the card over to show them the picture. Babies are able to learn words without knowing what they mean, so seeing the picture afterwards encourages better comprehension.

The Colors and Shapes baby flash card deck helps your child to learn the 14 different colors, 12 shapes, and a few combinations of both. This is an important step in your baby's education as the end goal is for them to be reading full sentences and eventually books. This can only be accomplished by presenting single words first and then gradually increasing the number of words put together.

Our Around the House deck will teach your infant 10 objects in the home, 10 items they use or see daily, 10 types of foods, and 10 animals common to their environment. The final set, Couplets, features only two word combinations. The words taught from the previous sets are presented again with two words per card. Because your child has already picked up these words from the previous sets, it will make it easier on them to comprehend them in pairs. This is an important and necessary step to have your child reading full sentences.
